Create Project

To create a new project, either click on the leftmost toolbar button (a empty document with a plus sign) or select the menu File -> New Project...

A dialog appears where you can choose the directory for storing the project files, and enter the project name. Regard3D will create a new folder under the selected directory and place its files and folders there.

After clicking "OK", you can start working on your project.

Restrictions, tips:

• Please choose the directory on a local hard disk, not on a shared network drive
• The directory should be on a disk with plenty of free space, as the generated files under the project directory can be quite big
• Choosing a fast disk (magnetic or SSD) helps to speed up the process
